Support San Francisco's Family Zoning Plan!

San Francisco is about to adopt a new zoning map, which will increase housing opportunities specifically on the west side of the city. These changes are critical to addressing our severe housing shortage.

The plan has been presented to the San Francisco Planning Commission, and it needs to be passed by January 2026 to keep the city in compliance with state law. If you want to help make the plan a reality, you can email our supervisor at chanstaff@sfgov.org and the Mayor's Office at daniel.lurie@sfgov asking them to adopt the zoning map and saying 1) your name and where you live 2) why creating more housing opportunities is important to you and your family.
